WangMao Legend王茅傳说: Guizhou Qianzhuang Winery(貴州百年黔莊), a century-old company, was rebuilt in 1983 by the direct descendants of Wang Bingqian, the founder of the “WangMao” brand and Maotai-favour Chinese Baijiu. Its history can be traced back to the “Rongtaihe Shaofang榮太和燒房” Winery period in 1879. In 1915, it won the gold medal at the Panama-Pacific International Expo. A hundred years later (2015), the group’s century-old wine won the “1915-2015 Panama-Pacific International Expo 100 Years Celebration Gold Award” and the “Belgium Brussels International Spirits Competition Gold Award”.
